GPAD for general purpose

In addition to read (select) and write (insert) privilege, this GPAD application version includes more functions needed to manage databases, tables, etc.

Deployment of download application depends on users' Java. Web Start can be used for the deployment if it is available in Java version. Another alternative is to not use Web Start. For more information on Web Start see this link .

Temporary license can be used to test the application for free. However, license for single user or a group of users can be ordered before the installation ( Request license )

From column "GPAD" in table below click on the version of GPAD that matches your Java version and Operating System -OS- (32 or 64-bit).

Deployment of download application without Web Start

The tables below provides a deployment without Java Web Start. When a version of GPAD is selected a zip folder is dowloaded in the browser directory. The zip folder includes a batch (extension ".bat") or bash(extension ".sh") script file and an executable "jar" file for the installation. Windows user also find a visual basic script file for launching the install application without command window. Once these files are extracted, click on the batch/bash or visual basics file to launch the installation. Unix based system users may have to change bash file attribute to executable. The zip folder can be moved from the browser download folder to another folder, and a shortcut of the batch file can be made for future use such as application update, etc.

The installation steps are similar to those in deployment without Java Web Start.
